As we planned for our first child, we knew that having an expert and support person in labor was going to be helpful for us both. With so much unknown, we wanted to find a doula who would educate us, advocate for us, and who was compassionate and kind to guide us through the childbirth process. Amanda did all of that and more. Her presence was transformational for our birth experience. She provided me options for positions to labor in with the support of my husband and cared for my mind, body, and spirit as we prepared for and went through labor and delivery. She was with us every step of the way, encouraging us with information, options, and support. Having Amanda by our side was the best decision we made in our birthing journey and we cannot say enough about how highly we recommend working with her.

Aja made my labor and birth so peaceful and comfortable. Her energy, presence, and knowledge made everything move smoothly. She communicated with my midwife so my partner and I could focus on labor. I wish I could give Aja and Cosmic Birth Collective 10 stars because she truly deserves it!! I wasn’t sure what to expect by having a doula, and looking back, and I cannot imagine having gone through labor and delivery without her. My husband and I felt so supported throughout our (very long) induction of labor that ultimately led to a c-section 48 hours later. She was with us in the operating room and was able to be with me after my husband went to the recovery room with our daughter.
